The Woof Walk (formerly known as the "Walk-A-Dog-A-Thon") is our annual fundraiser to support our shelter and the homeless animals in our community. Participants will fundraise by collecting online donations on CanadaHelps or by collecting using our printable pledge form. Feel free to build a team with family and friends - and most importantly have fun! We are aiming to raise $15,000 with your help. Let's make this our best "Woof Walk" yet!
Join us on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Alliston & District Humane Society Shelter for a fun-filled day. The walk will wrap around our ponds and all across our beautiful property.
Registration begins at 11am with the walk getting underway at 11:30am.
Enjoy these amazing activities at the event:
Address: At the Shelter - 5545 Concession Rd 4, Everett, Ontario
Date: Saturday, June 10, 2023
Time: Registration at 11:00am, Walk at 11:30am, BBQ and Games at 12:00pm
If you can't attend, you don't have to miss out! You are welcome to still fundraise online and you can participate "virtually" by posting a photo of you walking on social media with #ADHSWoofWalk on the day of the event.
Chloe is one of the many abandoned animals flooding into ADHS this year. This is her story...
She is an adorable friendly bulldog, only 2 years of age. But sadly, she is disabled and waiting for an expensive orthopedic surgery to correct a fluid, popped out knee cap. She came to the ADHS after being abandoned by her previous owner.
After this surgery, Chloe will regain her mobility and be able to start life in her furever home. Chloe has a long road of recovery ahead so we appreciate all the help we can get!
Below is a button so you can join or donate to Team Chloe - to help her and animals like her! ADHS has many more animals that have been abandoned or surrendered and require medical care! Feel free to also create your own team or join as an individual here.
You can collect donations using the "old-school" pledge form. If you’re collecting cash, the forms and money must be brought to the registration table on the day of the event.
Conveniently collect donations online on CanadaHelps.org and build a team with your friends/family for more fun! Get creative with your team and put the fun in fundraising!
With the holiday season now upon us, it's time for our annual Holiday Supply Drive!
If you are able to and would like to help the homeless animals in our community this holiday, please consider picking up an extra item (or two) for the shelter. We are gratefully accepting donations now and any gift is appreciated!
