A HUGE thank you to Tim Schmidt, Christine Wheeler and the WRC the Babes for the wonderful event this past Saturday at Horsepower Haven.

Millie Quigley and Tim O’Hara were hosts at their lovely country property for their annual fundraiser for the benefit of the animals at our shelter. This year they raised an incredible total of $3,560!
Millie has been an ADHS shelter volunteer for many years, and she and Tim continue to support our animals any way they can.

The 16th Annual Ronan Realty Charity Golf Tournament was held on Thursday, August 10th this year and it was a huge success thanks to its sponsors, volunteers, and golfers.
Thanks to Coldwell Banker Ronan Realty, Brokerage staff who donated $2,000 from this event to the shelter for our animals! ADHS continues to operate because of generous community and business donors like these!
Westcan Pridham’s/Villages Adjala recently held a horseshoe tournament with all proceeds coming to ADHS! Their enthusiastic gathering raised an amazing $5,500 for our animals!
Our cats, dogs, small animals and all of our shelter volunteers thank you very much! We truly appreciate your support for our shelter. We can’t do the work we do without support from generous individuals and groups such as yours!

With the holiday season now upon us, it's time for our annual Holiday Supply Drive! If you are able to and would like to help the homeless animals in our community this holiday, please consider picking up a few extra items while you are out shopping. The volunteers who work closely with the animals have compiled a list that they are in urgent need of, and they are listed on our wish list page, or conveniently download our printable.
We are gratefully accepting donations now! Donations can be left at: Pet Valu Alliston, Pet Valu Angus, or inside the shelter. Thank you for thinking of us and the animals at the shelter this holiday season!

Alliston & District Humane Society is thrilled to announce we have been named Best Animal Rescue in the annual South Simcoe Readers' Choice awards! Our more than 160 volunteers and staff work hard 365 days a year to help the many abandoned and surrendered animals flooding into our shelter every day. ADHS is a local, independent, 98% volunteer-run organization with no stable funding. We could not operate without the support of our volunteers, supporters and donors! The shelter is open 9–4 daily for the public to drop off donations but we do not do not always have an adoption co-ordinator in the building.
If you wish to see the animals for adoption you can attend our monthly open house from 1pm–4pm on the last Sunday of the month.
