Alliston & District Humane Society is thrilled to announce we have been named Best Animal Rescue in the annual South Simcoe Readers' Choice awards! Our more than 160 volunteers and staff work hard 365 days a year to help the many abandoned and surrendered animals flooding into our shelter every day. ADHS is a local, independent, 98% volunteer-run organization with no stable funding. We could not operate without the support of our volunteers, supporters and donors! Thank you for your votes and your confidence in our organization.
We are the proud to announce we are the official diamond winners of the Alliston Herald's Reader's Choice 2021 for: Best Pet Adoption Services!

The shelter is open 9–4 weekdays for the public to drop off donations but we do not do not always have an adoption co-ordinator in the building.
If you wish to see the animals for adoption, you can attend our monthly open house from 1pm–4pm on the last Sunday of the month or arrange a private appointment.
If you wish to make an appointment to see adoptable animals at your convenience, please leave a message on the adoption line at 705-458-9038.
Alliston & District Humane Society strives for a 100% adoption rate, with a NO-KILL policy for all animals deemed adoptable.
Help us care for the animals while they wait for their forever homes. Every donation makes a difference.
