Support for Pet Owners

The Alliston & District Humane Society recognizes that as the cost of living continues to rise, many people may face difficult financial times and might need a little extra help with caring for their pets.

There may be times that the Alliston & District Humane Society receives soon-to-be expired dog and cat food from larger corporations. We are beyond grateful for these donations. Sometimes there is more food than we can reasonably use to feed our shelter animals before the expiration date. It is at these times that we would like to reach out and help our community.

ADHS is now providing a Pet Pantry to temporarily support pet owners with food and basic supplies for dogs, cats, and small animals.

*Note: availability of products will depend on our volume of stock and the demand for items. 

This service is confidential and any community member experiencing financial strain is welcome to reach out.
