Our Small Animal Team Needs Your Help!
The ADHS Small Animal Team is in need of administrative help. A foster care coordinator ensures that our domestic rabbits have a great temporary home while waiting for their new furever family! This involves taking responsibility for vetting potential foster homes for suitability, preparing and organizing all necessary supplies for foster homes, including replenishment, managing our supply inventory and ensuring all paperwork is completed, signed and filed.
ADHS also needs assistance with small animal adoptions. This includes responding to application emails, arranging meet and greets, handling adoptions and adoption paperwork and following up post-adoption to assist and answer questions.

Woof Walk 2025 | June 7
The Woof Walk is our annual fundraiser to support our shelter and the homeless animals in our community. All funds raised from the Woof Walk will be used for animal health care and veterinarian costs. Participants will fundraise by collecting online donations on CanadaHelps or by collecting using our printable pledge form.
Feel free to build a team with family and friends - and most importantly have fun!
Join us on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Alliston & District Humane Society Shelter for a fun-filled day! The walk will wrap around our ponds and all across our beautiful property. Registration begins at 11am with the walk getting underway at 11:30am.
